Can you copy the file to Windows 7 machine and then run it than remotely running from windows 8 shared folder?And if resources are not enough it might be a little slow. You will have to bear with it.

May be because you have very less resources on the host (Windows 8 ) machine. Make sure you have enough resources to run more number of machines on the host.
