The organisation just migrated my pc. Post migration the vmware workstation console does not listed the virtual machines. The migration involved creating a new user in the new domain this seem to have created the issue. The migration did copied over my entire stuff from the old user's to the new users. So, i still have the vm files for the vm at C:\Users\my-new-user\Documents\Virtual Machines.
In order to start the vm, i created a new vm using the old .vmdk file. This seems to fire up the vm from where i left. So, in summary i am looking for :
1/ how do i list all the virtual machines on the vmware worstation console as before for the new user
2/ When i re-create a new vm using an existing hard disk of a vm, i see a lot of .vmdk files like
vmname.vmdk
vmname-s001.vmdk
vmname-s002.vmdk
.
.
.
.
.
.
vmname-s025.vmdk
Which file should i be using? i used the 'vmname.vmdk' to create and it works
