It's been a while since I did an upgrade on our vCenter environment, I wanted to double check something in regards to stopping services.
Prior to upgrading I was going to stop VMware vCenter Service and management services, backup database then begin with upgrade installation. Is this the right thing to do will stopping the services impact in the upgrade? or can this be ran whilst the services are stopped?
