Hi Forum
Been looking around, but had no joy in finding out why I can't get two monitors working, nor shared folders, for my Windows 10 guest in a Ubuntu 15.04 host...
For the two monitors (I have a laptop with external monitor), it comes up with a message saying the window manager doesn't support multiple monitors (which is a bit difficult to understand, when I've got an extended desktop running on two screens in front of me), or it says something on the lines of multiple monitors cannot be used - if you have added a monitor, please restart....
With regard to shared folders, I've got these enabled in the configuration, but in Windows (7 and now upgraded to 10), it says that my shared disk is unavailable - it can't find \\vmware-host in networking - I know that vmware-tools is installed - I've got resizeable screen and sound is working correctly - no errors were reported within the device manager - what I am seeing in the windows logs is [ warning] [vmsvc:vmsvc] SimpleSock: failed to create socket, error 10047: An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used...
Can anyone shed any light?
Many thanks
Carl.
