To clarify, Windows and many Linux distros (if not all) have the ability to enable firewall rules on specific interfaces so that if I need to block all traffic from a specific subnet to only 1 of the2 or 3 networks to which my server is connected, I can select the interface I want in the firewall rule. From what I've found so far, esxi only allows me to enable or disable a rule for the host and applies to all interfaces on that host, so the same port gets blocked for my internet connection and my san connection.
