I upgraded windows 7 to windows 10 using iso on dvd- upgraded without a hitch. I lost the ability to use a quicken launcher in the OS X dock- not huge deal. Single window and full-screen views work fine, but going to unity looks ok at first and then a grey background window (no background) opens up with windows explorer noted in the title bar. You can force quit windows explorer in OS X to get rid of it, but this corrupts the windows 10 graphics- no task-bar and have to re-choose desktop background to get rid of plain grey; happens every time you choose the unity view. I can load quicken or any other windows program within the single window or fullscreen with no problem. Unity just won't function as it should. I've tried deleting and reloading vmware tools several times with no luck. Even tried to omit the vmware supervga driver as I saw suggested for similar problem with windows 8, but no help. The only way I can keep the windows desktop stable is to suspend it when not in use. On the plus side- windows 10 is much faster.
Any ideas?
