Video handling issues not resolved since VMWare Workstation 10 / Windows 8

Hello,

I Use VMWare Workstation for 5 years (versions 7, 8, 9, 10 and now I installed Version 11.1 trial).

I use 3 Full HD screens under NVidia Surround Mode, so, I have virtually one 5760x1080 screen.

Under Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 and anterior version (even Windows XP), it was possible to have a 5760x1080 screen.

Since Windows 8 (8.1, 10), I cant reach this resolution.

I used a 2Gb of graphical memory. When you look adapter properties, you see 2208 Mb of graphical memory but only 128Mb is dedicated.

I followed this : http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&externalId=1003

And I noticed this :

Il think it's the origin of the issue.

Could you tell me if it's possible and how to increase Dedicated Graphical Memory or when will you fix this ?

I cannot purgase the VMWare 11 Upgrade while it's not fixed because I virtualize my development machines and I need this resolution.

Thanks,

Laurent
