1. Yes you can migrate the VM for vSphere 5.5 to vSphere 6.0.
2. Just rescan the adapter for VMFS storage it will list you the LUN formatted by vSphere5.5 . There will not be data loss at all and vSphere 6.0 will detect the VMFS.
