PowerCLI 6 on a 5.5 vCenter

HI all,

The compatibility matrix suggests PowerCLI 6 is backwards compatible with majority of vCenters.  There's been a bunch of new commands added that I am interested in but was wondering if anyone can tell me if they work on a 5.5 vCenter.

I understand vCenter 6 commands won't apply but there are some that should.  Specificity I was look at Get/Set-VDSecurityPolicy.

I would just install and try it but this is a work environment under change control.
