Workstation 11 VMnet2 missing in windows 8.1 guest.

In the virtual network editor I have VMNet0 bridged to my wireless network adaptor and VMNet2 bridged to my network adaptor all other networks have been removed.

When in my guest the VMNet2 doesn't show up in the "Network Connections" only the VMNet0 does.

I've "repaired" the workstation installation.  Reinstalled VMware tools and rebooted both host and guest.

I've made sure that VMNet2 is connected under the "attach removable devices"

I'm not sure that this is necessarily a workstation problem since the virtual networks work as expected when using a XP or Win7 guest.
