VMWare 10.0.1 not displaying wireless adapter Windows/Linux

My Sony VPCSC laptop has been scrapped by Sony, so I'm using my secondary laptop with Windows Vista (Until I update to 7 within the next day or 2) until my brand new replacement laptop arrives.

On said Sony, I had no problems. I installed VMWare Workstation, installed Windows 7 / Windows Server or Kali Linux and the wireless adapter was just as it's suppose to be.

On this laptop, it's using an Atheros AR5B91 wireless card.

I originally thought it was a Linux driver problem, even though the default Ath9K drivers should have worked. I installed Windows 7 and I'm having the same problem, it's not even detecting the wireless adapter, just the NIC.

In Networks it shows my private network, local & internet, connected, below that it has,
"Unidentified Network (Public)

Access: Local Only

Connections: VMWare Network Adapter VMnet1

                    VMWare Network Adapter VMnet2

But within the respective OSs', neither display WLAN0 or a Wireless Adapter.

Any advice?
