I have created a virtual machine with Windows XP professional. The Virtual Hard Drive created is of 20GB and is created on multiple .vmdk files approximately 1.95 GB of each. Now I want to Export this Virtual Machine to my Laptop which has Hyper-V Installed. but when I export my Virtual Machine it throws an I/O Error. I searched over the internet a lot but couldn't fine any helpful article that applies to this. I have the tool to convert the .vmdk files to .vhdx. I tried export, copied files to another location, moving files, run the converting tool direct by selecting the virtual machine but every time i get an I/O Error on one specific file while the rest of the files move successfully. I also tried to uninstall the vmware but even this was not helpful. the Virtual Machine is all running good. Here are all the file in my VM Folder and the error when copying 2014-12-08_0813 - Waqas_Qureshi's library. FYI i don't know much about Virtualization please help me.
