Thanks for your answer. Yes I know not to load the kext manually, but as you know, sometime it's necessary to debug a problem. And if you would know, if a kext will load (means is ok), you need this way (maybe with kextutil).

As I wrote before, Fusion 5.x works fine, but Fustion 6.x doesn't. So I think the system is fine.
But the question is still:
Could you explain, what the vmmon-kext is missing, when given this message "Unable to retrieve kernel symbols." - everything runs fine on the system, but Fusion 6.x. What's different in Fusion 6.x from Fusion 5.x?
